Eastern Baseball Academy (EBA) player commits to elite baseball program

Eastern Baseball Academy 1st baseman and Pitcher Darcy Affleck will be attending Prospects Baseball Academy this coming fall to finish out his High School studies while playing baseball full time where he will be part of an elite baseball program playing baseball 5-7 days per week with a 100+ game schedule. This was Darcy’s first year in EBA’s Winter Training Program and he has shown tremendous improvements in all aspects of his game especially in his hitting where he was arguably the best hitter during our 6 month Winter Training Program and will have a good chance at hitting in the middle of the order for the Prospects Baseball Program.

Darcy has taken on a whole new work ethic since the mid point of EBA’s winter program where he is willing to take extra reps, shows up excited ready to play and develop along with always having a positive attitude to get better each and every day. During recent talks with Prospects Head Coach John Sutherland he expressed much excitement in getting to work with Darcy over the next 2 years as Darcy will prepare himself for the college ranks.

Eastern Baseball Academy is pleased to have Darcy continue his High School education while playing baseball at an elite level in St. Albert, AB with the Prospects Organization and we congratulate Darcy on having this opportunity.

This is the 3rd player Eastern Baseball Academy has sent to a High School baseball program in western Canada and we look forward to continued success with the quality players we develop.
